That's the simplest install I've done in ages, though I think template fiddling is going to take some time...


What I really would like is the ability to add/remove/customise product information detail types by category. So, for example:

If we have a category of 'Concert ticket' we don't really want a manufacturer, but we might want a performer and a concert date.

Another category (say, CDs) might want manufacturer (as in label), performer but not date.

So, for each category we would ideally be able to customise the type of info available. I appreciate that's not going to be an immediate thing though!

While you're soliciting ideas, one I think is really important (and missing from most ecommerce solutions) is tiered posting.. as in:

1-3 items costs 32p
4-9 items costs 65p

or

0-100g costs 32p
100-250g costs 65p

and so on.

My true problem is the following: i cant install the BC 1.5 to my webserver, and i cant check all of the BC's features. I'm hoping, the developer staff will correct the bugs, and everybody will can setup this fantastic webshop engine

Lampard, Temi is actually right. But it is tricky, that is why it is easy to get confused, but once you know it you'll appreciate it

It is not organised the old fashined. Boss Cart approach allows merchant to created 'Product grups' when adding/editing a product. These groups can be 'Colours', 'Sizes', 'Students&Teacher's Promotion', 'No. of legs left'... really anything.
Each product group can have many options ('Red', 'Blue', 'Yellow'/ 'size 30', '32', '34'/ 'Teacher's price', 'Student's price'... etc.)
Additionaly, these groups can modify the basic price of the product (increase or decrease it) by selected amount, different or the same for each group option!

After this settings are applied, the client can select them when buying the product
