Does links from blog commenting still consider as quality backlink?

If it's topically relevant and the blog owner has dofollow, I don't see why it wouldn't be classed as a good back link.

Sums123, thank you for the link of official google blog explanation about this topic. They also show how to apply no follow attribute in posted link comment to prevent comment spamming.

I agree. Commenting on blog can be considered as a good source of backlink provided that the blog has dofollow attribute and your comment is informative, useful and relevant to the blog. However, most blogs use nofollow tag, so I think it can only be useful for traffic generation.

I don't think they are/will ever be viewed as quality backlinks but they can still be valuable for networking within your niche.

yes, but the bigger question is how to get your comment to be accepted and indeed ... if the link is a direct link, many blog's use external nofollow ...
anyway, don't spam !! stick to blog's that are related and become a 'real' reader, make meaningful comments ... |
