Hey,
I don't know if many of you have noticed that there are web directories out there that have installed bid directories on subdomains? EG. mydomain.com <-- the web directory itself mydomain.com/biddingdirectory <--- the bidding dir What is your view? I think it would be much more proffesional if you built one from scratch like temi did, haabaatags.com instead of having it installed on a subdomain. - Meti |

i would prefer the directory on a domain and not a sub.

I am not a fan of having 2 directories on the same domain, especially if customers don't know that the other directory exists.

Yeah I quite agree. Directories should be the man focus of a domain, things like blogs/forums should be subdomains.
It has a lot more SEO benefits that way round, as instead of being directory/directory, it's directory/forum or directory/blog, creating new and different content.

I reckon they should be kept totally separate.
A bidding directory should no doubt start from the homepage of a website so bidders can get value for money otherwise what is the point of a having a bidding directory.
