is bid directory useful or not?

I can say about useful or not:
1. It can be useful if links from the directory is do-follow, if links are no-follow directories is absolutely meaningless.
2. It can be useful if you will set biggest bid and your link will go to first page (and sitewide)
3. It can be moer useful if directory is realetad to separate theme, not with big list of categories (for example with categories such adult, gambling or same)
Abou this proposal- it's absolutely not useful- all links from this directories (one of them not working) is no-follow and Google (and more search engines) not counting this links!

Its a great oppertunity to bid with directory, in case if m able to get back link from such directory it will be very effective for my site, its not the matter whether it is nofollow or dofollow, but I think it will be a great source for huge visitors collection for ny business. Bidding directories can indeed be helpful.
In bid link directories bids with highest amounts have a better visibility. A link from any other website to your website will be highly regarded by search engines (better the PR of the website that links to your site, greater is the significance of the vote; a higher number of vote counts and quality web links brings a better appearance in serps).
You should also consider other techniques like traditional web directories, keyword search, articles directories, social networking and bookmarking sites to improve your web presence.
