I'll prefer wordpress if i have to start a blog for my personal site. Since it is very easy to customize it and also it is search engine friendly too. If a person like matt cutts is using it without any doubt then it must be having some reason to use for ourselves. If you find any better option than it please let me know I'll be thankful to you.
