Not pushy, not lying, not crap, plain hard truth. They either say yes or no. The cost is low (£15 a month, no long term contract) if they say anything other than yes, (like I need to speak to my partner etc), then the telesales person says ok, thanks for your time, unfortunately, I can't hold it for you though, as we are not asking for long term commitment, not asking a lot of money, but ARE offering exclusivity. so I will have to call the next person on my list who is abc services.
