Default Want to candidate? Write on a blog!

According to CNN, some candidates for posts in Malaysia’s rulling party will be required to set up blogs in which they must introduce themselves and what they’ll do in they are elected.

At blogging’s beginning, party politicians have said that bloggers spread lies and rumours, so this turn-around action it’s a little bit surprising.

It seems that the power of online campaigns starts to become recognized more and more, a lot of politicians started blogging in different countries also.
Do you think blogging could be a good tool in a campaign? I think that it all depends on the politicians’ reputation, less than what they’re writing.

Would you use a blog in a campaign if you were a politician?
