ABSOLUTELY! I have a custom script that tells me what ads on what pages are clicked on, where the ads go, what search phrase they used to get to me and other information as well, I wasn't going to post this, but what the hell, It tells me the cost of the phrase also

iIf you are serious about adsense, you MUST use a tracking script so you can find out what ads are working colour combinations positions etc, and also by tracking the phrase click throughs you will get sub niche information, and also mis spellings. I have 3 sites in the financial sector that target mis-spellings and do 'ok'
