Probably most rewarding affiliate programs are PayPerAction.
For example if you promote one of the hosting providers that are members of Commission Junction you can get up to $100 bonus when new customer signs up from your ad. With PPC usually you would need to accumulate few hundreds clicks to earn this amount.
There are some advertisers that pay even if costumer just use free trial period without paying for the product.
I am not sure if CJ use PayPal - I was getting direct bank transfers.
You can check some of the networks in the article and see what payment options they are offering.
