Default Image maps - Do You Even See Them Anymore?

I remember when image maps where cool! Then I "converted" to web standards
(and SEO) and found them horribly inaccessible and SE UNfriendly. But ALA
has a great article on "modern" CSS image maps - with the use of standards-based
XHTML and CSS, which which you apply a (low bandwidth) background image
and AP (Absolute Positioning) to create a map.

So, anyone use image maps anymore?
