I agree Resonate to a certain extent to what you're saying. But for me, it depends on
what the niche that email list is about.
For example, I'm a member of the
Guild of Accessible Web Designers, and they'll put out
a list that people will reply to. I get the daily digest, and I will read every post, as it
deals with website accessibility - on of my loves. I would NOT give up that email
newsletter for anything
